Baxter Online STEM Student Challenges
Based on lessons and activities developed for the Baxter STEM Academy, a residential summer program that tasks high school students with solving some of Baxter Biopharma Solutions’ most vexing challenges.
Educating for Environmental Change
Since 2017, Educating for Environmental Change (EfEC) has provided professional development programs to help K-12 science educators effectively teach the science and policy of climate change.
Dual Language Immersion (DLI)
Provides professional development training and resources for teachers and administrators across Indiana’s K-12 schools that are planning to implement or are already implementing DLI programs.
Global Literacy Invitations (GLI)
Introduces teachers to quality children’s literature that supports global learning and connections, and examines ways in which their students can participate in an open-ended investigation that extends the theme of the book into other subjects.
Medical Research Education Project
Middle school science teachers learn in-depth content and pedagogy pertaining to inquiry-based science focused on medical research with an emphasis on cancer research.
Synergy in Science (SynergySci)
Designed to provide HS science teachers with professional development on effective STEM integration and partner them with IU scientists to co-design authentic STEM lessons and activities.

iSTEAM
Infuses art into STEM curricula by having teams of teachers explore interdisciplinary connections with the goal of designing and implementing engaging, inquiry-based activities for students.
Project LIFT
Helps teachers improve interdisciplinary teaching and learning by infusing science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) into the Readable English literacy program.
Principals’ Academy on Internationalizing K-12 Schools
Aims to fill the existing gap among practitioners about what internationalization of education at school level entails.
Windows to the World: Digital Artifacts for Global Educators
An innovative, digital toolbox that advances humanities education in rural Indiana and connects K-16 educators with Indiana University’s museums and archival collections, which have been developed by expert faculty, staff, and curators.
Global Deliberations Collaborative
A professional development project with P-16 educators that promotes and develops open-minded, informed, and engaged citizenship for an inclusive and diverse democracy.
