Current and newly admitted students should complete the IU General Scholarship Application to be considered for as many scholarship opportunities as possible. Returning students can be considered for most scholarships by completing this one application each year.
The IU General Scholarship Application opens October 1, 2024. The application deadline is February 1, 2025. No applications will be considered after this deadline.
Students should also complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be considered for as many School of Education and IU scholarships as possible, as well as other financial aid.
Students interested in participating in the Global Gateway for Teachers program must fill out the Global Gateway for Teachers Scholarship application in order to be eligible for those awards.
There are also several scholarships available to both newly admitted and returning students through third parties.
