Thinking About Graduate School?
Earning a graduate degree can open up doors you’ve never considered before. Whether you want to advance your career in education or pursue career opportunities outside the classroom, the School of Education has a program for you. Don't wait for things to come your way - make it happen. Many fields require candidates to have advanced degrees in order to qualify for certain positions. Advancement into senior-level positions is simply not possible unless you have an advanced degree.
Choose from over 90 graduate degree programs, including master's specialist, and doctoral programs. Learn more about our broad portfolio of graduate programs and admission requirements . Our programs are delivered in several formats: online, hybrid, and residential.
As you consider different programs to determine which one is right for you, we suggest you do the following:
- Talk to students already enrolled in the graduate programs you're interested in. Talk to professionals who have completed their graduate degrees. Do you want to pursue a similar career path?
- Think about funding as soon as you decide graduate studies are right for you. Some scholarships, fellowships, or graduate assistantships are available. You may also inquire about student loans, funding for veterans, student employment, grant funding and other sources of financial support through the University Graduate School or the Student Central on Union.
- Contact the program to learn more about the coursework and the field. Make sure these align with your interests, skills, and goals.
