Professor Curt Bonk has been named a fellow for the Association for Educational Communications and Technology (AECT) 2024. 

The AECT Fellows program honors members with exemplary accomplishments in educational communications and technology. 

“A Fellow award is special since it causes one to reflect on the history of the field and their journey within it as well as review their personal highlight reels over the years for instances of where one has possibly made an impact. But such an award is vastly more special when only two people are being recognized from an organization with close to 2,000 members and the other person, Vanessa Dennen from Florida State University, is an IU Learning, Design, and Adult Education alumna (and brilliant former student of mine from a quarter century ago) who has become one of my closest friends and highly valued collaborators and who has co-presented with me countless times at conferences,” Bonk said. 

The Fellows will be introduced at the 2024 AECT International Convention in October.
